How Much Does Social Media Management Cost for a Med Spa?

Closed laptop, open notebook, pen, and calculator on a grey desk

There is no standard price for med spa social media. Quotes can look very different because they often cover different work. The better question is what you get each month, and how much of the work stays with you.

What changes the price

The biggest factors are the number of videos, how much editing each one needs, who writes the captions, who posts them, and how many platforms you use. Paid ads are a separate cost. Ask if a quote includes ad spend, or only the work of managing it.

Doing it yourself

This costs the least money and the most time. It can work when you are starting out. The hidden cost is that planning, editing, and posting compete with your time for clients, so content is often the first thing to stop.

Hiring someone in-house

A team member knows your spa and can capture content every day. You also take on a salary, training, and tools, and it is hard for one person to be great at strategy, editing, and design. If they leave, the work stops.

Using a freelancer or agency

You pay a set monthly fee for a set amount of work, and you can scale it up or down. You will still need to send clips and approve content. Choose a team that knows aesthetics, because it should understand consent and how careful treatment claims need to be.

Questions to ask before you sign

How many finished videos do I get each month? Who writes the captions? How many revisions are included? Do you need my login, or can I post the content myself? Can I see work you did for a similar business? Who owns the final files?

How to judge the value

Compare the monthly fee with the value of the clients it needs to bring in, and with the hours you get back. Give any plan a few months to work, then review your messages and consultations, not only your views.
